Drapes

Drapes are a fashion statement that reflect the personalities of the people who live in a home. The great advantage of drapes is that they can be lined so as to block out early morning sun or street lights, and they are excellent for conserving heat in the winter. Roman blinds enhance any room. They are particularly suited to an opening with little room to Stack drapes off the windows, and are excellent in all other situations. As they are fitted above a window or ranchslider they make the room appear larger and less cluttered than dressing with drapes.

Vertical Blinds

Vertical blinds are still high fashion especially in sunny situations, where they allow for total light control. They are excellent in an office situation and can be made for sloping or angled windows.

Curtain Tracks, Rods and Matching Holdbacks

Today there is an extensive range of rods and finials in a large choice of colour and style. Simple tracks are also widely used giving rooms a simple uncluttered look. Matching hold backs give style and grace to any drapes.

Venetian Blinds

Available in many neutrals and a large range of colours. Venetians are excellent for light control. Slat sizes are 25 mil (most popular) 50 mil (commercial look)

Wooden Blinds

Wooden blinds are ageless and long lasting. Stained wooden blinds come in different slat widths 45 mil to 60 mil. Painter or faux-wood come in light neutrals, white, off white, and soft taupe. The great advantage of painted wooden or faux-wood is that you struggle to see the dust on the slats.

Roller Blinds

Roller blinds are a highly fashion statement. Slightly dearer than verticals, they are an excellent choice for the modern home, as they are discreet, and nearly invisible during the day. They make rooms feel spacious and open, and are suitable for ranchsliders and bifold doors as they fit neatly in the top 40 – 50 mils of a door opening. Rollers can also be motorised and remote controlled. There is a huge range of fabrics, plain and textured, many colours, new patterns, and can even be screen printed with youir own photo or design.

Sunscreen Roller Blinds

Sunscreen blinds block out up to 95% of the sun’s UV rays, propecting carpet, furniture and furnishings.
Sunscreens allow you to see out during the day giving privacy in the home. At night the opposite occur, and silhouettes are visible from the outside. Often sunscreens and blockout blinds are installed in the same opening on a double bracket, giving sun protection and privacy during the day and privacy at night from the blockout blind. There is a huge range of fabrics in many different colours and they can also be screen printed.

Light Filtering Blinds

This is another option especially for light sensitive people as they allow a little light through during the day. They are not as sheer as sunscreens and not as dense as a blockout blind
